I met this awesome Air Force mommy back when baby was a tiny bump in her belly. We were preggo buddies participating in a new program the military offers for group OB appointments called ‘Centering’. Although this was the fourth pregnancy for me, it was the first for this mom and the other ladies in our group, and I was so thrilled to be a part of their new mommy experiences. I went in thinking “what could I really learn”, and I came out thinking, “wow, how did I not already know all of that”.
Most of all I enjoyed watching all the joy being experienced through the pregnancies and births. And I truly enjoyed meeting this little girl as a newborn and having her back in my studio as she enters toddler-hood. She is so much fun. I love the way she scrunches her nose when she’s excited and how comfortable she was with me holding her even when her mommy left the room.
A big thank you to this Air Force mom and her gorgeous military child for hanging out with me during Month of the Military Child and for your service to our country. I can’t wait to see what adventures await your wonderful family.
