April showers bring May flowers… but what do we do until then? When there are little ones involved, staying cooped up in house isn’t always an option. Not unless you want to see this mom lose it.
Unfortunately for me, getting the kids outfitted for a day in the rain (or more like 30 minutes) can take a little time and I sometimes manage to miss the rain showers that are kind of necessary for the “raindrops keep falling on my head” fun I was going for.
So what’s a mom to do when you get your kids all gussied up for rain… and the rain decides to stop? Well, go exploring in the wettest place you can find. And bring along the paper boats. Because there is nothing cuter than toddlers and paper boats. Especially as they are crying because their boat is floating down the stream, and they want it back. *Sad face.
Don’t let these moments slip by unnoticed. Grab your camera and capture them before they’re gone. Candid portraits of your kids in the rain will be cherished forever.
