1. What types of portrait sessions do you offer?
We offer a variety of portrait sessions, including individual portraits, family portraits, couples/engagement sessions, maternity sessions, and professional headshots. Each session is tailored to your specific needs and preferences.
2. How do I book a portrait session?
Booking a session is easy! Simply visit our “Contact” page and fill out the inquiry form. We’ll get back to you promptly to discuss your requirements, schedule, and any other details. We will then schedule a consultation to discuss further and begin the booking process if you wish to book with us. Our goal is to answer all of your pricing questions and provide you with all the session details prior to booking so that you are confident in your investment going into your session.
3. Where will the portrait session take place?
We can conduct sessions either in our studio, at an outdoor location of your choice, or even in the comfort of your own home. We’ll work with you to determine the best setting based on your vision and preferences.
4. What should I wear for the session?
We’ll provide you with clothing and styling recommendations based on the type of session and location. It’s important to wear outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident.
5. How long does a typical portrait session last?
The duration of a portrait session can vary depending on the type and complexity of the shoot. Generally, sessions last between 1 to 2 hours for children and family portraits and between 2 and 3 hours for newborn portraits.
6. When will I receive my photos?
After the session, we carefully curate and edit the best images. You will book a review and ordering session with us within 14 days of the session, where we will review your images together and choose the best options for ordering.
7. Can I order prints and products?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of options to help you showcase your portraits beautifully in your home. We will review our print and package options, including albums, canvases and frames both before the portrait session and again at the review and ordering session.
8. Do you offer retouching services?
Yes, we provide basic retouching to enhance the overall appearance of your images. This includes adjustments to color, contrast, and minor blemish removal. Newborn portraits receive additional retouching to address typical newborn issues including baby acne, skin redness and flaking, etc. Extra retouching can be requested during the review session for an additional fee.
